Who compares the comparers

Go Compare, Money Supermarket, Compare the Market, Confused, Tesco Compare.
That’s just a few of the companies who all claim to find you the cheapest deal. But who compares them? And are they the best place to buy insurance anyway?
The answer is simple: nobody compares them. So there’s no information (other than the claims they make) to help you choose the right one. And if you do choose one because you like the logo or the colour of the website you won’t find any professional help about which insurance policy is right for you. So you’re on your own. Which is fine until you need to make a claim, and that’s when you find out how good your insurance is.
So is it the best place to buy insurance? I don’t think so. I’ve been arranging insurance for years – comparing quotes, benefits, excesses and everything that’s important about insurance with professional advice for free. It really is cover beyond compare.
